We have a team of 16 awesome UU Walkers who raised an astounding $4,311 for CROP Hunger Walk! This church has always been known for its generous spirit, and once again the congregation has risen to the challenge. I am so grateful to be a part of this caring and compassionate community. This amount of funding will provide a tremendous amount of help to people living with hunger and poverty, both in C-U and other parts of the world, and will also provide relief to those suffering as a result of wars and natural disasters.

The UU Walkers team members are: Jane Behr, Cathy Cunningham, Karen Folk, Jennifer Greene, Jody Hanger, Jim Hannum, Sandy Hannum, Cheryl Hughes, Jean Peters, Sheila Pitts, Karen Retzer, Kat Setterlund, Sally Unser, Charles Walworth, Kaitland Walworth, and Lynn Wiley. Thank you for your compassion and generosity!

If you meant to donate to CROP Walk, but have not yet done so, don’t worry. You can give cash or a check to a UU Walker before October 26, and they will get your donation to the CROP Walk treasurer. Or you can go to the CROP Walk website and donate in support of the UU Walkers, or a particular walker. The website will stay active through the end of November!!
